Sam Morton

Managing Director
Sam Morton joined IHSS in 2017 after 6 years at Johnson & Johnson where he held various sales, marketing and business lead roles within the Ethicon (wound management, open & minimally invasive medical devices) and Mentor (surgical aesthetics) franchises. Prior to J&J Sam worked in the pharmaceutical sector for over 10 years at Sanofi working in sales and marketing positions in both global and local markets and across various disease therapy areas.
Jon Hartley
Finance Director
Jon Hartley studied for his ACCA accountancy qualification working at a private practice, when after 6 years he moved into the industry in 2000.  A career path working in a variety of industries including high tech electronics, aviation and IT has resulted in global assignments and a depth of experience in the financial management of public body/private company partnering. Jon joined IHSS as Finance Manager in April of 2010 and has been at the centre of the dynamic changes the company has undertaken since that time.  He was appointed Finance Director in January of 2014.
Gary Clarke

Commercial Director
Gary joined IHSS in 2010 and has worked in a variety of roles across the IHSS business gaining a rounded operational background through logistics, production and operations management. Gary then progressedto the role of General Manager at the Maidstone facility where he worked for two years prior to taking up the position of Commercial Manager in October 2015. Gary previously worked for the UK market leader in storage and shipping containers.
Dean Burand

Regulatory Manager
Dean joined IHSS in April 1999 after 7 years within the NHS, starting as Operations Manager at its Cardiff facility, and then General Manager where he remained until 2007 moving to the bid team as Project Manager and Technical Lead working on National Decontamination projects. After transitioning services to the four current IHSS sites in Kent and in London Dean has held a number of positions within the company supporting commercial, contractual, technical, IT and regulatory requirements.
